“Chill & Chat is awesome. It’s the highlight of my week!”

Tonia, parent.

“I can’t believe the difference in my son! He is so much more independent. You and your team have helped him develop confidence and social language skills.”

K.K, parent.

“These are the best. Nicholas has so much fun and wanted to stay for the 6:00 clock group! He was very disappointed to leave.

Honestly, he’d be thrilled if this was a full day program!

Thank you, Sheila. This is the absolute best! I love these notes and so proud of N. for taking transit to and from!  He has become so independent and just takes the bus now and goes wherever he wants.”

Catherine, parent.

“I wanted to start by saying how much Connor is enjoying participating in the Friday Chill and Chat sessions. The opportunity to meet new friends and practice the many skills that meeting in a group setting offers, are wonderful for him.”

Ellen, parent.

“I am very grateful to you and your staff for providing our son with such a great week of chill and chat. The combination of physical activity with focused practice in socialization is ideal for him, since he left to his own devices, he does so little of either. I appreciate the daily notes and definitely find myself thinking about them as I interact with him. My husband and I are giving him more responsibility for packing up the things he needs for the day and living with the consequences of forgetting or losing an item. Instead of telling him what he needs to do, I’m asking him to tell me his plans.”

Claire, parent.

“Thank you for the detailed notes. Morris was nervous before the session, but he came home with his eyes shining. He loved it. He told me that he thought he might even have made a friend (Justin).

I don't think Morris has ever had conversations like he seems to have had on Wednesday. I think it was exhilarating for him to meet peers with similar interests and to feel that he could just be himself and talk about his interests.

I think it helped that Morris is on holiday, so he's not tired after a day at school spent regulating himself. I think it also helped that he has had 2 weeks of relative boredom and so to be released into the company of kids with similar interests - heaven!

Thanks. I really hadn’t expected it to be so effective so quickly and for Morris to get so much out of it immediately. It’s wonderful:)”

Christine, parent.

"Our kiddo is relatively new to the group, and only after a few sessions she felt comfortable and started to make connection with peers. The coaches are very attentive and imbed themselves quite organically into conversations especially if support is needed to facilitate.

Our kiddo's conversation skills have improved, and she feels even more confident.”
